I am a 27 yr old SINGLE mother of one son. He's six. As a parent, I try to encourage him to be who he wants to be. I'm more towards the darker side of life, as you can see, since I'm on this site. My mother, who's a JW, used to think it was a fad, that I'd grow out of it. As time went on and I didn't "grow out of it", now she just tells me I'm being childish and too old for the "gothic" trend. What she doesn't know is that "gothic" people have been around for hundreds of years. It wasn't until the last couple of decades that they were called "goths". In the 50's, they were called "drakes", in the 80's, "punks". Gothic is just a new name to an old lifestyle. It's not the way you dress, although most goths, like myself, dress in dark clothes, wear dark make-up, etc., it's more of a way of life. The way you think about and view things. Anyway, I'm not telling you guys anything new right? Oh yea, and I'm on here for friends and relationships. So if you know any cute gothic guys, send 'em my way!! HAHA

Writing poetry and songs (just lyrics, not the music part), getting tattoos (when my budget allows it), And my MAIN like is.... playing with my 6 yr old and teaching him new things and how to expand the regions of his mind. Oh, and if you read my blogs, they are all poetry unless otherwise noted. Enjoy!!

I have a LOT of dislikes, but the two MAJOR things that just piss me off is.... Lying to me and ignoring me. I can't stand it.

| Music |
Music? I don't think I could fit it all here. I love LOTS of music. I have an open mind when it comes to those things. A few of the "MODERN" bands that I like are:
Avenged Sevenfold, Nickelback, Hinder, Buckcherry, Theatre Des Vampires, etc. I like music from all sorts of decades, music that, to some of you, would probably make me lame. LOL But I don't care. I like what touches me to the soul.
